Marvel Studios dropped a Gamma-bomb sized spoiler at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday night with the revelation that the title of the “Avengers sequel” will be “Age of Ultron.”

As comic book readers know, Ultron is an indestructible, artificially intelligent robot that decides to take down the human race starting with the Avengers. Given the importance of the robotic super hero Vision to the original Ultron storyline, the signs point squarely to Vin Diesel’s role in the movie, as one of several new super heroes ready for their big screen debuts.

“Marvel meeting today…,” the 45-year-old actor posted on his Facebook page two weeks ago with a poster of a 1963 cover of “The Avengers” in the background. Only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed…
