Rush Limbaugh graced CPAC (the Conservative Political Action Conference) with his narrow-minded presence today and gave FOX News lovers what they wanted to hear. Apparently, the room was filled with applause hour and a-half before he even spoke.
Of course, in retrospect I’m sure this speech will go down in history as the most negative one ever told by the most bigoted 2012 Republican presidential nominee.

We’ve all seen those guys standing by the side of their road, holding a sign to advertise for their employer. Ordinarily they’re pretty boring, but I’ve found that one that blows his competitors out of the water.

Anyone who has spent any amount of time on the Internet will know that it contains Web sites covering just about anything you can think of. This goes for high-brow subjects, geeky niches, and even porn.
What used to be strictly the territory for very specialist magazines is now out there on the Web for all to see, if you look hard enough. There’s basically every type of pornography you can imagine… or is there?
Anyone of a certain age, such as myself, will no doubt remember Tron, the Jeff Bridges movie that tapped into the new computer generation in the early 1980s. It was one of my favorite films growing up, and now there’s a sequel on the way.
I see so many videos of owners deliberately torturing their pets to make entertaining YouTube videos. It’s wrong, cruel, and heartless. It’s also pretty funny. This is one such video.

The Daily Show is fantastic television, and all because of one man – Jon Stewart. He’s witty, and intelligent, and erudite. I just wish he was British and the show was broadcast more regularly in the UK.
Then there is Ricky Gervais, a man whose mind seems to work on a different level than the rest of us. He’s also witty, intelligent, and erudite. And best of all, he IS British. Put them in the same room and sparks fly.
In case you didn’t already know, we’re now deep into an economic downturn. Some people think this recession will be as bad as The Great Depression of the 1930s. If so, we all need to start watching our pennies.
This video shows the first episode of Depression Cooking With Clara, which shows 91-year-old great grandmother, Clara, preparing the kids of dishes her family were making during those difficult times.
Because knowing what to do in the event of a zombie attack is the best preparation possible.
