Human Immortality Soon Possible? (Video) | Mark Roth Talks Suspended Animation

If you haven’t heard of the term “Suspended Animation,” then you’re about to be amazed. The concept Mark Roth brings up in this lecture addresses the possibility of human immortality…

As in, the ability to live forever.

Roth talks about using Suspended Animation for medical purposes in this lecture, but if you’re like me, then you’ll be focused on the whole “temporary immortality” aspect of his research. While suspended animation is normal for some bacteria, applying the same concept to large mammals has it’s consequences.

As Roth states, lab rats who had heart attacks and were treated using his methods recovered 70% better than those who didn’t. Hopefully he’s figured out a way to bring that number up to 100%- testing humans just doesn’t seem right until all the kinks are worked out.
