I often have to travel on buses when I’m going on long journey due to being a non-driver and not being rich enough to travel by the prohibitively expensive train system in the UK.
However, I know that the chances of being in a serious crash are higher on a coach or bus, and that serious injury is then more likely if it did happen. Which makes this video scary.
It shows CCTV footage from the inside of a school bus as the driver loses control and rolls it over. It’s shocking to see how quickly the kids inside are slammed to the other side of the bus.
Why the driver lost control isn’t clear, but I sincerely hope he or she lost their job. It was very lucky that no-one was seriously harmed in this crash, or it would have been even more unpleasant to watch than it already is.
