After being born on the back of a truck headed for a slaughterhouse, the future didn’t look too bright for Angelo. But a kindly passer-by spotted the little lamb and begged the driver to set him free. The driver acquiesced and now Angelo is thriving.
Today he spends his days at the Farm Sanctuary, an American shelter which rescues and provides lifelong care for animals rescued from factory farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses.
It doesn’t look like a bad life for Angelo. He’s got plenty of space for gambling, plenty of food for munching, and lots of other farmyard friends.
I know the folks at Farm Sanctuary are doing a great job, but I’d love to adopt this little guy!
