Awhile back, we learned that Toyota had created a robot that could play the violin. It was to be a prototype for a more advanced version that could aid nurses in hospitals by 2010.
Well, it isn’t 2010 yet, but it’s safe to assume that helpful humanoids are going to be a big part of the future. Just look at what these robotic chefs can cook up…
The pancakes look a little uneven, and the robotic drinks tray is just unnecessary, but I could sure use a robo-sushi chef in my house. If you’ve ever tried to make sushi yourself, then you know how complex it can be. How the robots managed to make something that pretty is just amazing.
As for the robot that slices veggies, I can’t think of a single mother that wouldn’t want that.
