There are a host of talented animators showcasing their work on YouTube. The ones that stand out are those which try to do something a little different from the norm.
This video definitely fits into that category, showing one guy pitting his hand against an animated character he’s drawing as he goes along. It’s absolutely spectacular.
The animated character is from Street Fighter, and the hand is, well, just a hand. But a hand with the power to fight fire with fire as it goes into combat with a drawing.
I assume this is a stop-motion animation, but the amount of work that must have gone into it is incredible. The person responsible really deserves a job in the industry.
