Knights Of Cydonia is a fantastic song by British rock group Muse. But as good as it is in its original form it’s perhaps even better when covered by one person playing five cellos. Or, more accurately, the same cello five times.
This amazing musician runs through the song five times, taking a slightly different approach each time. The result is that when the five run-throughs are played together simultaneously the song is revealed in stunning clarity.
These kinds of videos are growing in popularity on YouTube, but this is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It helps that Knights Of Cydonia is a great song, and even more so that this lady can play the cello extremely well.
