Rolling In the Deep is a song that most of us have heard far too many times. It was everywhere last year, and is still regularly played on the radio. If I never hear the original again I’ll be happy. Covers are a different kettle of fish, however.
This is one of the best covers I have seen of Rolling In The Deep yet. Perhaps because it’s so different, being played on an instrument that usually doesn’t get much of an airing outside of China.
This is the guzheng or Chinese zither. It looks like it’s complicated to play, but in reality it’s probably no more difficult than any other stringed instrument. I’ll be sticking to the ukulele though.
I wonder if Adele loves or hates covers such as this one? I would ask her but when she’s talking rather than singing her voice is atrocious.
