If you don’t know what Anchorman is in movie terms then stop reading this immediately. And then slap yourself in the face a few times as punishment for having such poor taste in films.
The original Anchorman was a gem of a movie. It was funny without really trying, understated yet immensely entertaining, and with more quotable lines than probably any other comedy ever released.
After several years of trying the studios finally agreed to make a sequel, and Anchorman 2 is due to be released sometime in 2013. This is the first international teaser trailer, which is slightly better than the U.S. one.
It’s great to see the characters back and all the actors having agreed to return. If the writing matches or even betters the original Anchorman then this will be a must-see movie.
