Personally I don’t even find real babies all that cute. So the chances of me finding an animatronic one cute were remote. Not only do I not find it cute, I find it goddamn creepy. I mean, will you just look at that thing!
This animatronic attempt at mimicking a baby’s movements is the work of Chris Clarke. And I hate him for bringing this scary vision into my eye-line, even though he is quite clearly a genius.
Whenever I see a robot exhibiting human traits I always think back to The Matrix. That’s my go-to source of all things about androids and artificial intelligence succeeding our pitiful human intelligence.
It’s bad enough seeing adult robots taking over the world, let alone little baby ones. And it all ends with each of us becoming nothing more than a battery powering them. Be on your guard!
