On July 3rd, 2020, Hamilton will be available to stream on Disney+. And this is the official trailer designed to get you pumped up ahead of its release.
For those unfamiliar with Hamilton, it’s a Broadway musical about the founding fathers of America, but with black actors and rap songs completely changing its tone.
The Hamilton movie was being saved for a theatrical release in 2021, but Disney snapped it up for $75 million instead. Which will please millions of Disney+ subscribers.
As someone who never got the chance to see Hamilton live on stage, this will be my first time. And I have to admit I’m excited given all of the hype surrounding it.
