People take to Kickstarter every day in order to fund their dreams and get a new product or idea off the ground with financial help from strangers.

Or, alternatively, they concoct a Kickstarter campaign designed to fleece total strangers of their hard-earned cash in order to feather their own beds.

The person who made this video assumes the latter, and spoofs the style of so many Kickstarter campaign videos which essentially show someone begging for money. Just on the Internet rather than on the street.

The best advice for anyone looking to donate money to a Kickstarter campaign is to assume you’re going to lose your money. That way, if the campaign delivers you’ll see it as a bonus.
