Unless you have been living under a large rock somewhere in Outer Mongolia for the last decade then you will be aware of the cultish appeal Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley has achieved.
But while being Rick-Rolled by the original is now out-of-date, there’s a new version just waiting to be used in such a way. It’s a Mad Men-Roll, if you like.
This video shows the cast of hit AMC show Mad Men speaking the words to Never Gonna Give You Up. They may only manage one word at a time, but collectively they’re performing the Rick Astley abomination.
The positive thing about this video is that it means we don’t have to watch Astley doing that horrific dance that I’m so glad never caught on. Instead, the Mad Men add a touch of class to the whole thing.
