This video shows the teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. It’s a direct sequel to the first film released last year, with the stakes ramped up considerably for all concerned.
I can’t say I was that impressed with the first film of the trilogy, but as a 30-something male I’m not exactly the target demographic. I also haven’t read the books.
The only saving grace is Jennifer Lawrence, who can truly act. The rest of the cast can’t really match her though.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire looks to be very similar to the first film, so if you liked that one you’ll probably like this one too. Those of us who didn’t like the first may be better bowing out now.
