It is the competitions that end like this that truly top the scales as the most exciting Olympic moments.
I watched this relay live, and I can tell you, I was just as stunned as the announcers were when the final results came in. But as they played back the finish in slow motion from all angles, you could really see how something can be won or lost in just a moment.
I think all the swimmers who competed should be truly proud of themselves for an awesome swim, but the top two teams really gave it their all in the end.
It was awesome to watch.
