I remember discovering the music of Def Leppard as a kid and being agog at the musical prowess of Rick Allen. I couldn’t understand how a man with one arm could drum so well. However it seems Rick had it easy, as DJ Fresh manages to do the same thing with no arms at all.
This isn’t one of those patronizing videos where we celebrate the disabled for putting in a mediocre performance. He’s bloody good, even if his taste in music leaves a bit to be desired.
That annoying dance ditty “Hot Right Now” may be stuck in my head all week, but watching DJ Fresh in action makes that sacrifice totally worthwhile.
