This is the trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider, the sequel to the 2013 reboot. It looks absolutely fantastic, with Lara Croft being counselled through her experience from the first game.
Unfortunately, Crystal Dynamics, the makers of the game, have thrown a rather large spanner in the works by announcing Rise Of The Tomb Raider is an Xbox exclusive.
Xbox owners can jump for joy at the news, but it looks those of us who own PlayStations left wanting more. And it all comes down to money, with Microsoft likely paying a chunk of change for the exclusive rights.
I really do not understand why Crystal Dynamics would do this. Sure, they’ll make some money now, but by annoying all PlayStation owners they’re annoying loyal customers who may think twice about buying a Tomb Raider game in the future.
