Shigeru Miyamoto is a genius. That’s the only word I can think of to describe the man who created many of Nintendo’s most beloved characters, and made some epic games in the process.
We’re talking Donkey Kong, Super Mario, Zelda, Starfox, and Pikmin. He even had a hand in creating Pokemon, which became a worldwide phenomenon.
In this video, we get to see Miyamoto performing the Super Mario Bros. theme on the guitar. He is ably assisted by The Roots, but that’s by the by.
This is quite an old video, and I’m not sure how I missed it until now. Still, I’ll never tire of hearing the Super Mario Bros. theme.
