Super 8 is the new movie from J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg. As a huge fan of both these guys’ work, I’ll definitely be seeing the flick, but what do the critics think?
Each of the three critics have some issues with Super 8, but then I doubt there has ever been a perfect movie which is insulated from any kind of criticism whatsoever.
In the end though, they all think Super 8 is worth watching. Some are more enthusiastic than others, but movies are subjective, as is all art, so that’s to be expected.
The Super 8 reviews across the Web are positive, with many feeling this is a genuinely entertaining slice of sci-fi goodness that harks back to a time of innocence. Sounds good to me.
