The History Channel does a lot of these mock-up CGI speculations, and I hardly take them seriously. This one, which shows a giant asteroid smashing into our planet, is incredible to watch.

I’d much prefer a giant asteroid over an alien invasion, the power displayed in this clip is overwhelming. Sure, it’s not real, but stunning reality checks like this are what keep me humble.
