I think I’ve just found what I want for Christmas.
A Kalimba – otherwise known as a ‘thumb piano’ – is from Africa and is basically a wooden box with different sized metal keys attached. Think of it as a kind of combination harp guitar piano.
Actually, let’s just stay with ‘thumb piano’.
I received one of these little beauties from my grandfather years ago, and I have never seen someone play it as well as the man in this video. I’m quite impressed.
