Christmas is almost upon us. One of the many ways we know this is the slew of Christmas movies on the TV. Countless films have been made around the holidays, but what would happen if some big-name directors gave the genre a go?
We find out thanks to this brilliant video titled The Auteurs Of Christmas. It shows how some unique and cult directors would tackle the holiday season.
To get the genius of this video you have to be aware of the work of these directors. But I’m sure everyone recognizes at least a couple of names.
They’re all absolutely spot-on, with the Martin Scorsese and Walter Herzog ones being particularly well-realized.
