LOS ANGELES - DEC 14: Executives, Michael Sheen, Morten Tyldum, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Executive at the "Passengers" Premiere at Village Theater on December 14, 2016 in Westwood, CA

LOS ANGELES – DEC 14: Executives, Michael Sheen, Morten Tyldum, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Executive at the “Passengers” Premiere at Village Theater on December 14, 2016 in Westwood, CA

Jennifer Lawrence has partnered with Omaze, an online fundraising platform that offers unique experiences and swag for donating to charities, to offer one donor the chance to sip wine and picnic with the Hunger Games actress.

Lawrence announced the campaign on Tuesday, which also happens to be her 27th birthday.

“If you’re a Republican, if you’re liberal, it doesn’t matter,” Lawrence told Vogue in the September issue of the magazine. Lawrence said the goal of the organization, of which she is a board member, is to get “money and corruption out of politics.”

“We can’t continue this divide and anger,” she added. “There are issues affecting us as human beings, not as liberals and not as Republicans. We have to protect the foundation of this country, and acceptance.”

To help support the Represent.Us cause, Jennifer Lawrence is accompanying one winner and a friend on a “picnic among the vines and play lawn games at the vineyard.” The winners will be flown to California, where they will stay in a 4-star hotel.

The winners may also receive two wine tumblers, two wine charms and a “We Run This” t-shirt, depending on the size of the donation.

Lawrence filmed a PSA-style video to help raise awareness for her cause and campaign.

“I’m here to give you and a friend the chance to come wine tasting with me in California to benefit Represent.Us,” she said. “We’ll hang out, drink some wine, talk politics, drink wine, maybe we’ll call your ex, maybe we’ll call my ex – who knows? The point is, we’ll have fun.”

Every entry supports the organization. The larger the donation, the more chances there are to win.

Lawrence’s Omaze campaign ends in 42 days.

A jury sided with Taylor Swift in a trial that would determine whether former DJ David Mueller had groped the star in a meet and greet session.

Swift’s victory was not about money. The star won just $1 in the verdict. The victory was a message that women should stand up against sexual assault.

The pop star was visibly emotional when Gabriel MacFarland delivered his closing argument that Swift’s face in the photo was not the face of a woman who had just been groped.

Following the victory, Swift released a statement to E!News.

“I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this,” said Swift. “My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”

The publicized case included four days of testimony from Swift’s former bodyguard Greg Dent, Andrea and the singer herself.

Mueller’s team questioned Dent about why he did not step in to protect Swift. Dent told the jury, “I looked at her to see if she was looking at me and wanted me to move in and she proceeded with the picture,” he said.

Mueller was escorted out of the arena after the groping incident and fired two days later.

Two years later, Mueller sued Andrea Swift and Frank Bell for $3 million in damages, blaming Taylor Swift for his ruined career.

Taylor Swift responded with a countersuit for assault and battery for a symbolic $1.

The singer was dismissed from Mueller’s lawsuit after the judge found that his legal team could not prove Swift had anything to do with his firing.

Jurors also dismissed Mueller’s claims that Frank Bell and Andrea Swift cost him his job.

NEW YORK-JUN 2: Thomas Rhett performs on NBC's Today Show at Roc

Country music star Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins welcomed a baby girl into the world on Saturday at 10:28 pm. This is the couple’s second daughter. Ada weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz.

“Our baby girl is here. Sweet Ada James Akins came into the world at 10:28 last night after almost 36 hours of labor (only Jesus got me through that-& she is sooo worth it),” Lauren wrote in an Instagram post featuring a photo of her in the hospital.

Lauren says Ada is “so stinking cute,” and that her and her baby are resting. She thanked everyone for their prayers.

The couple has another daughter named Willa, whom they adopted from Uganda in May. This is Lauren’s first pregnancy. The couple had difficulty conceiving before Ada.

“We’re so excited that Willa Gray has a baby sister! Thank you Lord and everyone for the prayers #outnumbered,” said Thomas.

Lauren was preparing for labor on Wednesday, posting, “Yes, I’m bouncing on a birth ball trying to coax my baby out.”

Thomas and Lauren were childhood friends and married in 2012. The couple announced in February that they were expecting their first child and were in the process of adopting Willa.

“We tried to get pregnant for a little bit before,” said Lauren. “It was a good chunk of time and our family is extremely fertile, so I was expecting it to happen easily. I was like, ‘Maybe this is the Lord’s way of telling me adoption is what he wants me to do.’ And I was okay with that.”

Lauren added that the baby happened after they gave up trying.

Thomas says he is excited to get to know his second child, but says he’s “terrified about having a girl.”

“When she turns 13, 14, 15 and starts dating, that terrifies me pretty hard, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” Thomas said. “Three days ago was the first kick. It was pretty surreal to me. That made it all real!”

Taylor Swift took the stand as part of the ongoing groping trial involving Colorado DJ David Mueller, E!News reports.

Attorney Gabriel MacFarland called the singer to the stand for questioning. Swift was sworn in and questioned about her meet-and-greet session with the defendant and his girlfriend Shannon Melcher. Swift said the three posed for a photo backstage in 2013 at the singer’s Denver show on her Red tour.

Mueller, who at the time was host of KYGO’s Ryno and Jackson morning show, was invited for a meet-and-greet as part of his show.

While posing for the photo, Swift alleges that Mueller grabbed her bottom.

“It was a definite grab. A very long grab,” Swift said.

When asked how long the grab lasted, Swift said, “I don’t think it would be wise to estimate time in court, but I know it was long enough for me to be completely sure that it was intentional.”

MacFarland pushed the issue further, asking Swift if Mueller grabbed her “bare bottom.”

“He stayed latched onto my bare ass cheek,” Swift clarified. “I felt him grab onto my ass cheek underneath my skirt.”

The singer said she was shocked by the incident and that she “got as far away from him” as possible.

Swift said the moment she was alone, away from fans, she reported the incident. She recalled telling her assistant that Mueller grabbed her bottom.

MacFarland continued with questioning and turned his focus to Swift’s bodyguard Greg Dent. When asked why Dent did nothing about the incident, Swift said there was no time for Dent to act.

“There was a wall behind me,” she said, and added that Mueller’s act was “devious and sneaky.”

“What Mr. Mueller did was, like I said, very intentional and the location was very intentional and it happened very quickly and I wasn’t going to blame Greg Dent for something Mr. Mueller did,” Swift said.

LOS ANGELES – DEC 14: Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt at the “Passengers” Premiere at Village Theater on December 14, 2016 in Westwood, CA

Actress Jennifer Lawrence opened up about love, the new movie she’s making with Amy Schumer and the Passengers reaction in the September 2017 issue of Vogue. The actress appears on the cover of this month’s issue, and she was an open book when talking to the interviewer.

From her romance with Darren Aronofsky to the disappointing reviews of her film Passengers, no topic was off limits.

When dishing about the 2016 Passengers film, there’s one thing the actress said she agreed with critics on: the film should have opened with her character waking up – not co-star Chris Pratt’s.

“I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it,” she said. “I thought the script was beautiful – it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not embarrassed by it by any means. There was just stuff that I wished I’d looked into deeper before jumping on.”

She also addressed the Vienna dancing controversy. The actress was videotaped dancing out in a Vienna club last year. Rumors swirled that Jennifer was drunk and dancing in her bra.

“It looked like I had taken my shirt off. I was in a crop top. I did not take off my shirt,” she said. “I’m on the phone with my lawyers, and everybody’s like, ‘Is there anything we need to know before it comes out?’ And I’m like, ‘No, it’s all there.’”

While Jennifer is open about most subjects, she has a history of keeping her relationships private and out of the spotlight, including her current romance with Aronofsky. The two started seeing each other after the filming of Mother! wrapped.

But Lawrence had plenty to gush about when talking about her beau.

“When I saw the movie, I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is,” she said. Jennifer also says he’s an amazing father.

When it comes to their relationship, Jennifer says she’s “never confused.”

“I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused,” she said. “And I’m never confused with him.”

The actress also opened up a little about her secret film project with Amy Schumer. The two are meeting with directors, although not a whole lot is known about the project.

The plot, she says, is about dysfunctional twins. It’s both sad and funny, she says.

Country music legend Glen Campbell has died at the age 81 after battling Alzheimer’s disease. The singer died Tuesday morning in Nashville.

A statement on Glen’s website reads:

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and legendary singer and guitarist, Glen Travis Campbell, at the age of 81, following his long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Glen Campbell Memorial Fund at BrightFocus Foundation through the donation page.”

Kim Campbell, Glen’s wife, thanked everyone for their prayers and asked for privacy during this difficult time.

Glen sold more than 45 million records throughout his six-decade career, outselling the Beatles.

The country singer released his final album, Adios, earlier in the year, which featured cover songs of Harry Nilsson, Bob Dylan and other artists he loved.

Glen’s daughter Ashley said the songs on the album were his “go-to” songs when he would sit down with his guitar.

“They were very much engrained in his memory – like, so far back that they were one of the last things he started losing,” she told Rolling Stone Country.

Glen was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005 and won more than ten Grammys.

Kyle Young, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum CEO, said in a statement:

“Had Glen Campbell ‘only’ played guitar and never voiced a note, he would have spent a lifetime as one of America’s most consequential recording musicians. Had he never played guitar and ‘only’ sung, his voice would rank with American music’s most riveting, expressive, and enduring. He left indelible marks as a musician, a singer, and an entertainer, and he bravely shared his incalculable talent with adoring audiences even as he fought a cruel and dread disease. To all of us who heard and loved his soulful music, he was a delight.”

Glen is survived by his wife Kim; eight children; ten grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.

LOS ANGELES - JULY 11: Aaron Carter and Nick Carter at "An All Star Night At The Mansion" charity event at Playboy Mansion on July 11, 2006 in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, CA.

LOS ANGELES – JULY 11: Aaron Carter and Nick Carter at “An All Star Night At The Mansion” charity event at Playboy Mansion on July 11, 2006 in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, CA.

Aaron Carter, on Saturday, shared an emotional letter with his fans, revealing past sexual experiences.

The 29-year-old singer wrote: “To start off, I would like to say that I love each and EVERY ONE of my fans. There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life. This doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off me.”

Carter went on to reveal that when he was 13 years old, he began finding both boys and girls attractive.

“There were years that went by that I thought about it, but it wasn’t until I was 17-years old, after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with,” he continued.

Carter has been open about his struggles with substance abuse and eating disorders in the past.

The singer said music is his “temple” and the studio is his “safe haven.”

“But the ultimate goal for me is to be satisfied. I never want to be a figure of disappointment,” he wrote.

Carter’s letter came just one day before he and Madison Parker split. The couple, who had been dating for nearly a year, broke things off as part of a mutual decision, according to E!News.

“Aaron and Madison love each other and respect one another dearly,” a rep said. “It was a mutual decision and Aaron’s personal statement speaks for itself. Now back to the music.”

News of the breakup and the letter come after Carter was arrested on July 15 in Georgia for suspected DUI and pot possession.

The singer has since returned to the stage and is continuing with his tour.

NBC has already picked up the Will & Grace revival for a second season – and has ordered four more episodes for season one.

News of the renewal came during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour. The network has renewed the show for a 13-episode second season even though it hasn’t returned to the air yet.

NBC also ordered four more episodes for season one, bringing the episode total to 16.

Bob Greenblatt, NBC Entertainment chairman, revealed the news before the show’s panel kicked off at the tour.

All original cast members will return: Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally. Creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are also back, and they will be joined by executive producer James Burrows., who directed every single episode of the original series.

Along with making new episodes, Mutchnick says they are also looking at options for streaming the original series.

“We are working on it, but it’s super-complex. There are a lot of parts to that,” he said.

As for the new series, the creators say they’re going to pretend the finale never happened. When the show said farewell in 2006, Grace (Debra Messing) married Leo (Harry Connick Jr.) and had a child named Laila. Whitney Port at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia

Reality star Whitney Port has given birth to a baby boy. And while she loves her baby, she wasn’t exactly a fan of being pregnant.

The star was candid about her experience during pregnancy, which wasn’t as rosy as other celebrities make it out to be on Instagram.

Just a few weeks after the former star of The Hills announced her pregnancy, she shared a photo on Instagram of her wrapped in an oversized robe in bed.

“I felt extra sh*tty this morning, so Timmy decided to set up a camera and put it at the foot of my bed so I could share with you all the terrible things that are going on with me and my pregnancy,” Whitney wrote.

The 32-year-old said her second trimester was “Emotion City,” and that she felt bad for her TV producer husband.

“I can’t control it,” said Whitney. “You don’t understand. I’m just kind of over analyzing everything. You start to really, really not be able to be in the present moment. You start to constantly plan and worry about things and that causes a lot of stress and emotions.”

While her journey through pregnancy wasn’t easy, Whitney says it was worth every second.

“I know what’s coming at the end of this and I would put up with this a million times over because of that,” she wrote in a blog post.

Whitney said she wants to continue to be raw and honest about her pregnancy journey, but that her heart breaks for those who are trying to get pregnant and can’t.

By the end of her pregnancy, Whitney said she was finally loving being pregnant. While she admitted to still having some body issues, she was focused and ready for motherhood.

Whitney gave birth to her son, named Sonny Sanford Rosenman, on July 27.

PASADENA - APR 18: Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann at the NBCUniversa

Reality TV star Kim Zolciak-Biermann says she’s done posting photos of her dogs on social media after one of her followers called animal control services, E!News reports.

The star took to Snapchat to share her disgust toward an unknown follower who called animal control and claimed she wasn’t properly caring for her three foster dogs: Shiloh, Sage and Stella.

Kim said Fulton County Animal Services came to her home to check on the condition of the animals.

“Apparently somebody thought it would be really cute to call the animal control center on my dogs today and say they were not being taken care of,” Kim said, adding that she was utterly “disgusted and appalled by the person who did this.”

Kim, who regularly posts photos of her own and foster dogs, said all of the commotion was for nothing.

“Of course we are in the clear because my dogs are very well taken care of,” Kim said. She also noted that she has spent over $3,000 to care for the foster pups.

The reality star says she will no longer share “any part of my dogs and their life on my social media any longer.”

Earlier in the year, Kim’s son Kash was bitten in the face by a dog and suffered serious injuries that required hospitalization. Despite his injuries, Kim has encouraged her son to continue loving dogs. Kroy, Kim’s husband, “felt it was super important to continue to encourage Kash to be around animals.”

It is still unclear who called animal control on Kim, but the reality star’s feud with Kenya Moore is apparently brewing again. There is no evidence that Kenya is behind the call, despite speculation from the rumor mills.

Irregardless of who called, Kim’s followers are bummed that the star will not be sharing any more photos of her furry companions.
