Japan loves its dogs. However, rather than just own them, the Japanese like to stick their dogs on game shows. OK, not the whole population, but enough to make this a thing.
Thankfully, it’s not cruel, and no dogs were harmed in the making of this video. Not harmed, but definitely confused. Just as I would have been under similar circumstances.
You’ve got to feel for this guy. He spends hours installing a new cat door for his feline friend, only for her to metaphorically stick two fingers up at his efforts.
This BBC presenter was getting rather frustrated at the lack of blue whales he could see. Which is understandable given he was shooting a documentary about blue whales.
But then, right on cue, one surfaces, clearing his or her blowhole, and making the presenter instantly eat his words. Who said animals don’t have comic timing?
Cats really don’t like doing what you tell them to do. They’re independent creatures, set on doing their own thing, thank you very much.
This is an instinctual thing that’s there right from birth. As can be seen in this video, which shows an unfortunate kid trying to round up a gaggle of kittens.
Eating contests are commonplace, with humans pitching themselves against each other in battles to see who can eat certain foodstuffs the fastest.
But I have never before seen an eating contest in which a human faces off against a dog. I mean, the dog is odds-on to win, right?
I don’t own a cat so much as share a house with one… and give up all my lap rights.
Hearing your child speak for the first time must be an amazing moment for any parent. I know so because most of the parents I know have posted about it on Facebook.
However, what’s better than hearing your child utter his or her first word? Hearing your dog utter his or her first word.
