You’ve gotta love Weird Al Yankovic. He’s been mocking everyone and everything for decades now, and he still hasn’t lost his cutting-edge appeal or acerbic sense of humor.
This is the official music video for Weasel Stomping Day, a song from the critically-acclaimed Straight Outta Lynwood from 2006. And both the song and video are very funny.
It’s rare for something, anything, to make me laugh out loud these days. I spend my life finding things mildly amusing, but laughing out loud? That’s an annual occurrence at best. Yes, I am a joy to live with.
This video has provided me with my one out loud laugh for 2010, and it’s come very early. Which means I’ll have to spend the rest of the year chortling away inside to no one and nothing in particular.

You either love Japanese animation or you hate it; there’s very little middle ground. I happen to love it, although I don’t always fully understand the story lines at play, as they usually involve weird sci-fi and fantasy elements.
