Jimmy Kimmel likes to issue pranks to his viewers from time to time. The last I saw was his instruction to parents to pretend they had eaten all their kids’ Halloween candy. And he’s at it again.

This time Kimmel asked viewers to pull the plug, turn the TV off, or switch channels at an important moment during the Super Bowl. And record the resulting mess for us all to laugh over, obviously.

I find this video especially hilarious as I do not understand the level of interest some people have in sports. Support a team, fine. Go to a game, fine. But sit around focused on the TV as if life itself depends on it? Sad.

While most of the football fans featured take it well, several resort to violence. And I find that especially saddening. A football game is so important to you that you’re happy to injure someone who interrupts it? Get a life.

This video shows A group of North Korean accordion players covering Take On Me. Who would have thought A-Ha had reached the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea?!?

This is just about the best cover of Take On Me I have ever heard. No, scrub that, this is the best cover of any song I have ever heard. It’s awesome, and really well choreographed.

This shows that North Korea is just another country, and its people are just like me and you. So the political system they live under is vastly different, but the people are not.

I have to say, though it’s probably not very PC of me, that I do like the comment on YouTube. Just as they finish playing you can hear a phone ringing, and someone joked that was probably “Kim Jong-un letting them know their families were killed because they played western music.”

This video shows a cat eyeing up a light fitting. Will he jump or won’t he jump? That is the question.

Assuming you have watched the video from beginning to end by now, you’ll know the answer. He jumps. A long way. Like some feline stuntman willing to risk life and limb for a YouTube hit.

What I find fascinating about this video is the decision-making process the cat goes through in his mind before leaping. He starts off being nosy, wants to jump but doesn’t and then ends up thinking, “What have I got to lose?”

I’m guessing the cat has either jumped up on the light fitting before, or at the very least eyed it up. Why else would its owners have a video camera set up to capture the moment for ever?

If you want to sell a cheap Android tablet then what better way than to blur the lines between your product and the market-leading Apple iPad. Hell, you could even mock Steve Jobs for having died!

This is an advert for the Action Pad from AXN, a Taiwanese company. The product is an Android tablet, and the company thought it would be suitable to use a Steve Jobs lookalike with wings as their frontman.

This commercial proves two things: the iPad is considered the greatest tablet computer, hence the need to mimic it; advertising companies will stoop to the lowest levels in order to shift a product.

I wouldn’t buy one of these things just on the strength of this ad. It’s unnecessarily crass and basically mocks Steve Jobs’ presenting style and mannerisms. Shameful.

This video shows Barack Obama meeting an Internet celebrity during his recent Google Plus hangout on YouTube. Wait, what? No way did that actually happen.

You’re right, it didn’t. Keyboard Cat wasn’t present during President Obama’s inaugural Google Plus hangout. But I wish he had have been. Thanks to the power of Conan and video-editing software, Keyboard Cat made an appearance.

I found this funny enough to post it here on WebTVHub despite the fact it’s a clip from the Conan O’Brien show. I can’t stand that guy. He just looks too damn creepy for my taste.

Australians are first to take the piss out of themselves, so this segment from Danny Bhoy at the Sydney Opera House would have gone over quite well.

In Australia, drinking isn’t just something you do after you knock off work; it’s a truly integrated part of the lifestyle.

I love all the little things he put in there to let you know that this is something he’s really seen. For instance, the whole ‘Legend!’ thing. I nearly spit my drink out when I saw that.

The Simpsons is a great show. Not as good as it used to be, granted, but still better than 90 percent of the other crap that populates the airwaves these days.

The theme tune is also awesome. But even that could be improved upon…

Nick McKaig has done just that, covering The Simpsons‘ theme tune just with his voice. He recorded individual tracks for all the various parts of the song, before editing it together into a glorious whole.

I can state quite categorically that I wouldn’t have either the time, the patience, or the skill to do this myself. Unlike many of the crap videos I watch on YouTube.

Kristen Bell, better known to some as Sarah from “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” apparently gets worked up over Sloths. Yes, the slowest moving mammals on earth are Kristen’s reason for crying in the video above.

“I wasn’t kidding” she says in this clip on Ellen. I predict a wave of YouTube parodies in the works.

Dax Shepard (formally on the show Punk’d) just doesn’t know when to stop with the pranks- even on his fiancee’s birthday. I can’t blame him for recording the whole freakout, it’s pretty damn funny.

Ellen’s little joke at the end almost makes Kristen just as upset- a little too much estrogen?

Why struggle and train and do all that preparation for a boring old regular 5k run when you can go on a 5k run with zombies.

I love this idea. What I love even more is how many people will take this seriously as training for the zombie apocalypse. You have to love that.

But really, this is a fantastic idea. It makes fitness fun, which is always a good thing.

This video shows the 2012 Super Bowl commercial for Honda starring Matthew Broderick as Ferris Bueller. It’s quite good, but doesn’t live up to the considerable hype heaped upon it.

Last week saw a 10-second teaser appear which had the InterWebs furiously speculating over whether Ferris Bueller’s Day Off 2 was going to be announced during the 2012 Super Bowl. It isn’t.

Instead, Honda has paid Broderick a small fortune to reprise his role from that film for a commercial for its CR-V. It’s called Matthew’s Day Off and this is it in its entirety.

I can’t help thinking Honda has erred by leaking the full commercial ahead of game day. Perhaps a longer teaser, but the whole thing? That kind of misses the point a little, doesn’t it?

Bald men around the world salute the one, the only, the legend: Patrick Stewart.

Alan Davies, Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart all on the Graham Norton show? Now I have to see this.

I love Patrick Stewart’s voice more than his shiny head, but I have to admit that he really does rock the dome like no one else.

Well, Bruce Willis does a pretty damn good job as well, but we will just stick with Stewart for the moment.

How strange, though, to have gone bald when you’re so young and to have lost it so suddenly. One of those weird things…

Although I don’t play it as much as I used to (does anyone?) I’m still a big fan of the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games. But there is a better alternative…

… a real guitar, obviously. But not everyone agrees with that sentiment. The characters from South Park, for one.

This is probably a really old clip but I don’t care, because it’s awesome. It’s also quite timely with Rocksmith, a new game which combines the gameplay from these games with a real guitar, now available to buy.

But enough of all that. I’m off now to play with my plastic guitar. Yes, I’m too old and I should know better. But it’s just too much damn fun!

James Bond is cool, right? Suave, sophisticated, able to get any woman he desires. Maybe. Or perhaps he’s just a bit of an arsehole when all is said and done.

This video shows clips from the various James Bond movies down the years, with all the different actors who have portrayed the spy making an appearance.

But forget the visuals, this is all about the lyrics. James Bond is shown up for being an absolute douchebag, sleeping with women he doesn’t care about, killing lots of people, smashing up towns and villages, and generally being a prick.

I may watch future Bond movies with a different mindset after seeing this. Starting with Skyfall.

We’ve seen some pretty saucy answers on Family Feud over the years, but generally they’ve come from the contestants rather than the official survey. However that all changed in a recent episode.

The families were asked to name something an airline pilot might hold during a long flight. Of course controls was a given, and his bladder was another creative response. But his schlong? Well, no one with any decency was going to guess that!

My favorite part of this clip is the reaction of the woman captured at around 28 seconds in. Something tells me she’s rethinking shaking hands with any pilots in future!

In the hilarious style Gordon Ramsay’s How to Treat a Lady, Nigella tells you all about what she likes from a sexual encounter.

There is a Jamie Oliver video as well, but it wasn’t nearly as hilarious as this video.

And anyone who has watched Nigella’s shows would have to know that it would be very easy to put together a video like this. She always seems to have a bit of a naughty attitude when it comes to food.

Honestly, when the Gordon Ramsay one came out, I fully expected clips from her show to be next.

As a nail polish addict, I totally believe in the power of the paint. Choosing just the right shade can put a spring in your step and encourage good things to come your way. But choose wrong and bad things can happen, like your favorite NFL team bowing out of the playoffs.

Or at least that’s what this keen Packers fan believes. We see her sobbing hysterically as she laments her decision to choose sparkly green nail polish for the game.

Personally I’d blame the players for their poor performance, or perhaps some biased calls from the referee. But nail polish? It seems like a bit of a stretch, but I know better than to argue with an upset woman!

Another day, another Hitler in his bunker being informed of the latest news video spoof. This one is about SOPA, PIPA, and MegaUpload.

Thanks to this meme I’ve seen this segment of Downfall (the movie it’s taken from) more times than I care to mention. Thankfully most of the spoofs which use it are worth watching. And this one is no exception.

It deals with the fallout of SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act), and the taking down of MegaUpload the day after half the Web blacked out content to protest the bills.

This is surely what YouTube was made for: it’s an entertaining video which also seeks to make a serious point. And it does so by using copyrighted content. How ironic.

Here’s a tip for all of you, especially if you regularly appear on television: If you don’t know the meaning of something, don’t blithely blurt it out in front of millions of viewers.

This is BBC weather girl Carol Kirkwood, who is clearly an innocent flower who doesn’t get out much. While preparing to tell us the weather at the end of last year, she inadvertently said something very rude.

It was a wet day, you see, and she happened to mention live on air that someone had tweeted describing it as “wetter than an otter’s pocket.” Think about that for just a second…

… there you go. It’s a euphemism for a lady’s privates, as anyone who picks up on innuendo (such as I do) could have told her without a second’s thought. Unfortunately the BBC crew must be wetter behind the ears than an otter’s pocket.

Sure, Mark Wahlberg is a pretty respectable actor today, but back in 1993, this guy was doing anything he could get his hands on for exposure.

Take this Marky Mark Workout video for example- he’s practically a stereotypical meat-head.

Aside from the obviously over-sexed curls that occur at 2:30, my favorite moment of this video has to be when he says, “Why am I doing a fitness video…I’m a rapper.” Ah, yes, the short lived career of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

You can’t knock the guy for being in shape and getting “the honeys,” but I can totally point out the fact that he may have a turrets problem with the word, “POW!”

You know that horrible live-audience wooing noise in American sitcoms? The one that follows any kiss or tender moment? How about using it inappropriately, and in Saved By The Bell?

It works. We end up with a clip which is funnier than it should be.

The main thing I take away from this video is how bad the acting was in Saved By The Bell. Mark-Paul Gosselaar is shockingly bad, especially in the scene where he’s reacting to the bad news.

That’s even beyond the fact that the clothes and hair were horrible, the writing was dire, and every single aspect of the show was diabolically bad. At least looking back now. At the time it originally aired I loved it.
