Square Enix are remaking Final Fantasy VII. And no, this isn’t a wind-up, it’s deadly serious, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake is actively being worked on in Japan right now.

This is the first teaser trailer, which shows how gorgeous the game will look, at least in terms of the cut scenes. It ends with Cloud Strife and Barret Wallace walking into view.

Grand Theft Auto V is a spectacularly good game which I have personally spent too much time playing over the past couple of years. It also looks fantastic, with eye-popping visuals on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

However, as good as GTA V looks, it’s not quite real life. Unlike this video, which, barring a few special effects shots, is all live action.
