Who says dogs are the only ones who can play dead? The cute cat in this video fakes a gunshot with the best of them.

Whenever her owner makes a gunshot sound, this cat drops to the floor. It seems she enjoys performing the trick, and why not? She gets to lounge about on the floor, then eat a treat!

It’s all very cute, at least for the first couple of times. I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t get to the end of this video. I certainly didn’t. The novelty of the trick wears off long before the camera stops rolling, but it’s fun while it lasts!

Chatroulette is a Web service which connects you and your Webcam to strangers also with Webcams. Essentially, it’s the online video equivalent of Russian Roulette. And it’s a hell of a lot of fun. And very addictive.

Chatroulette has also inspired musicians to take their talent online as a test of their improv skills. We’ve already seen an improv rapper and now it’s the turn of an improv pianist.

This guy is arguably more talented than the rapper, but probably not as funny in the things he says or the way he delivers the lines. Still, it’s very entertaining.

My favorite are the three girls who like hearts, hands, and the number three. And I get the feeling they really liked our intrepid pianist.

Wow! Who knew that such fun and lovely Disney characters could look so… gross.

I have to say: there are plenty of good costumes there, but I like Tinkerbell zombie the best. There is just something about her as a little zombie pixie that seals the deal for me.

Plus, how hard is it going to be to clean her costume as opposed to cleaning up the big princesses’ dresses? I wouldn’t bother trying.

Not only can you grown your own fresh food even though you live in the city, you can become part of a community working toward building better window farm systems.

While it isn’t clear exactly how many veggies or meals she is getting out of all her hard work, this is a wonderful thing to see.

I don’t live in New York, but I have next to no ground in which to plant crops. Using such a window system would be a great way to garden without the dirt, so to say.

I’m curious to see if this will grow into an even bigger trend.

Now, I imagine his father was right there telling him what to say, but I highly doubt this was actually take your child to work day or that this behaviour had been cleared by the airport.

Chatroulette is a new video chat phenomenon which is taking the Web by storm. In essence, it allows two complete strangers to hook up via Webcam for as long or as short a time as they desire.

This guy decided to turn Chatroulette into an opportunity to improvise a rap on the fly. So we have him, his Webcam, his mic (complete with vocoder), and a willingness to make a complete tit of himself. Add strangers with their cams and voila, genius is born.

Even using Chatroulette for the four minutes he does, this guy encounters four men with their penises out. Because that is how a certain smattering of the population has decided to use this fun service.

But the rest are a mix of interesting and dull people just looking to have fun talking to complete and utter randomers. And the beauty is that if you don’t like what you see, one click, and you move on to the next person.

You may be able to kick butt on Halo and read HTML, but you might as well face the fact that your grandparents will always be cooler than you.

To some people, it may seem like it’s getting all excited about something simple, but it’s more than that: it’s real life fun.

These two have been married for 62 years, according to the video description, and he will be 90 this year.

While most of us in need of some greasy, artery-clogging fast food head for McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, or any of the other big names, things are slightly different in India.

As you can see from this video, fast food in India can also mean flying food, with this chef able to make parathas very quickly before dispatching them to the other side of the kitchen in a rather novel fashion.

Parathas are Indian flat-breads made from dough containing flour and ghee (clarified butter). Parathas are usually filled with one of a number of different fillings, including vegetables and paneer (Asian cheese).

I’m not sure whether this fast food stall throws the parathas for any reason other than novelty factor to draw in the crowds. Or it could be just basic bad kitchen design. Either way, it seems to work and is pretty damn awesome.

This video works because it shows an instantaneous and probably subconscious act of revenge. The prankster ends up coming off worse by having an extremely large cooking pot thrown at his head.

The set-up for this prank is simple, and one I’ve seen done before. The pretense is of a memory game where you have to reveal what is under the pots, and the first task is looking under them.

And all is well until she reaches the fourth pot only to discover a human head waiting underneath. It;s obviously still attached to its body, with the guy crouching under the table to make the prank possible.

That’s funny in itself but what happens next is better, as she craps herself so badly she lobs the pot at the head in question. Ouch, that’s gotta hurt, but then I guess that’s the risk you take when playing pranks on people.

This video shows us that you don’t have to be the fastest, the smartest, or the most talented to break a world record. You just need to do something really, really cool.

Before watching this video I’d never heard of a stick bomb, nor had any idea creating one on a grand scale was a record-worthy feat.

This particular stick bomb features 2250 tongue depressers. I love the way it twists and turns, with the sticks amazingly staying still until the exact moment they need to fly. It’s almost like a Mexican wave with sticks.

I can’t imagine having the patience to set something like this up, but I love that I can watch the efforts of someone else!

I’ve been known to dabble in online gaming from time to time. I’m not exactly brilliant but I enjoy it nonetheless. However, I’m a straight shooter, in both senses, getting on with the job without bragging or being a dick.

Unlike this guy. Who, upon finding a rival player lying in a building preparing to snipe people in Modern Warfare 2, decides to send a message to him before killing him. Big mistake, bozo.

Instead of sending him a message and then shooting him in the head, he gets shot himself as the other guy has got up, turned around, and noticed him standing there in the mean time.

Instead of pwning the guy, he ends up experiencing an epic fail. Which is justice in my book.

Me, I’d have shot the guy in the balls as soon as I spotted him. I may not have had bragging rights afterwards but at least I’d have killed him before he killed me. Which is the aim of the game after all.

I’m not sure David Copperfield wanted this tape to get out, but it’s out for better or worse.

The “body switching” trick has been used numerous times in his acts and now you can see how it’s really done. You might not want to see this because it will take the mystery away.

It never occurred to me how simple this trick was. The reason for wearing black clothing is also explained in this video.

Maybe it’s just me, but now that I’ve seen how this is done it kind of ruins the “magic” in it for me. Hence the whole “keep it a secret” message at the end of the video.

The world has a new sword swallowing record holder. In fact, he’s the same man who held the previous world record, but watching Space Cowboy go one better still makes for fascinating viewing.

The Australian street performer known as Chayne Hultgren to his parents swallowed 18 swords in the center of Sydney recently. He seems pretty chuffed with his efforts, and the crowd too is impressed. This isn’t your everyday busker after all.

Apparently the feat took intense training, which makes me wonder exactly how one trains for this kind of thing. The consequences of sword swallowing practice gone bad seem pretty extreme to me!

I’m not a fan of pranks. Never have been, likely never will. They’re tolerable when being done on complete strangers on the Web, naturally, but if I’m involved at all I hate it, even if I’m not the one being pranked.

That’s why I hate Ashton Kutcher, who made his name being a douchebag by pranking people, and why I really don’t like this video. The problem is I can’t stop myself from watching it.

Most pranks are a bit of fun, with the chances of serious injury negligible. Mainly because people aren’t so stupid as to risk someone’s wellbeing for a quick laugh. But not this one; no, this one is downright dangerous.

The guy could have slipped a different way and hit his head on the side of the shower or the wall. And that would have resulted in a serious head injury or even death. Ha ha ha, how funny, I killed my boyfriend by spreading butter on the bathroom floor. I think that’s the very definition of manslaughter.

When a blizzard hits and schools and businesses start closing, university students take advantage of a glitch in the internet submissions by submitting bogus business closings.

This is too funny. I wonder how long it took the station to realize that they had been pranked. That is, if they realized at all.

Can you imagine sitting in front of the television, waiting to see if your school had been closed, and then seeing a business called ‘Unnatural Intrusion Security’ is closed?

I love it. Not only is the prank funny, but so many people got in on it. The group effort makes it that much better.

I have watched this more than once, and every time I laugh out loud. There is just something about randomly stumbling on some weird technology thing that cracks me up.

The guy who is doing it sounds like a complete ass starting out, but by the end, he sounds a little startled. Of course, that makes it even funnier.

I think what I love most about this is that we should know what’s coming, but the video is so quick that we don’t get time to think about it.

So we can just laugh.

I hate religious TV channels. Seriously. I think they should be banned as most of them only exist to persuade people to donate money to someone, somewhere who claims to be doing God’s work. Because God wants you to be rich, of course.

With that in mind, this video made me laugh. Very hard indeed. It shows a Nigerian man on one of these religious shows being pranked. Not once, but twice. Absolute genius.

The man obviously doesn’t live in the real world, as he reads through the first email almost to the end without realizing it’s a prank. This despite the fact it uses the title song from The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air as its inspiration.

Then he moves on to the next email and gets pwned again. This time, the email spells out parts of the plot of Star Wars, with Ben Kenobi, the Dark Side, and even midi-chlorians mentioned.

I’d like to meet the person who sent these emails and shake their hand. They have cheered up my day no end.

This video shows another example of an increasingly popular pastime: trying to take yourself out of the gene pool by dying in the most retarded manner imaginable. Darwin would have been proud of how far humanity has progressed.

This is a fat kid in his bedroom holding a lighter and wearing cheap clothes. Nothing unusual there. Until, of course, said fat kid decides it would be a good idea to use the lighter to set fire to himself.

The obvious question is why? The secondary one is what did he think would happen? Did he expect something magical to appear out of the flames? Or for him to ascend into the air riding a magically charged fireball?

Instead, the obvious happens. The fire spreads, sets his t-shirt alight, and makes the kid panic, dancing around in front of the camera as he attempts to save himself from becoming a burnt offering to the gods.

I wonder if this kid will ever be able to father children later in life? I for one hope not.

David Blaine, who is known for being a magician, sets himself apart from other illusionists by stretching the limits of the human condition. Holding your breath for more than 6 minutes is said to make you prone to permanent brain damage.

I can’t think of any “stunts” by illusionists that are allowed to be scientifically studied- except maybe ones by David Blaine. As he says himself, it doesn’t make good TV, but his thirst to endure challenges that would normally be humanly impossible is one aspect of him I really respect.

More recently (Jan 15th, 2010), Blaine participated in an event called “Magic For Haiti” where he performed magic for 72 hours straight to help raise donations from the Red Cross. Personally, I can’t wait for the footage of the event to get released.
