This is the video trailer for The Cove, a full-length documentary film which won the 2010 Oscar for ‘Best Documentary’ at the Academy Awards.

The Cove tells the story of efforts to expose and halt the hunting and supposed slaughter of dolphins in the coastal Japanese town of Taiji. And it’s a powerful real-life drama sure to invoke an emotional response.

The Mothman is a mythical creature (although some would dispute the mythical description) which showed up in West Virginia in the late-1960s, supposedly.

Human rights, or the rights that all humans are entitled to, didn’t always exist in an official declaration like they do today. The above video gives a very brief (and very optimistic) story of human rights as we know them now.

Apparently there are 30 “official” human rights that the United Nations recognizes- many of which are already laws in developed countries.
