Continue Reading…I must admit, I almost didn’t see this video. Watching five synchronized metronomes just didn’t sound very thrilling. But when I noticed it’s currently the number one clip on Videosift, my curiosity got the better of me.
To appreciate it you do need a little patience. But the payoff is worth it.
You’ve seen magicians like David Blaine perform some incredible tricks. In this video, a sword is thrust through a man’s body and it doesn’t even phase him. Upon first glance it looks like yet another amazing magic trick.
But this isn’t magic, it’s science.
Ugh, this video is horrible and virtually unwatchable, but amazing at the same time. Beat the fear, and watch 40,000 bugs eat a whole lettuce in under an hour.
As amazing as this is, watching it just fills me with dread, and makes me itch all over as I imagine all of those crickets crawling on my body.
