Here’s a video of one lucky bastard. He managed to get the new Space Jam XI 2009 shoes (aka the Space Jam Jordans) back in August for $175. For everyone else, the shoes come out today.

The retail price of the shoes was supposed to be $175. However, because of the demand for the shoes, some stores are raising their prices to as high as $250.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the movie Space Jam and Air Jordans are a kick-ass shoe- but for $250 I could get 3 shoes! Apparently, many other consumers don’t mind the price since, as of this morning, many Footlockers are already sold out.

Some of those lucky enough to grab a pair are even re-selling them on Ebay for even more ridiculous prices. There has been a lot of hype surrounding this release because they were originally scheduled to come out on Black Friday. It looks like Nike is milking these new Jordon’s for all they are worth.

This video shows CBS science and technology correspondent Daniel Sieberg answer viewer questions about Cyber Monday and the kind of deals they should be looking for.

Cyber Monday is the online version of Black Friday, with people shopping online from their work computers. The same rules apply if you’re after a bargain, but Cyber Monday is more about technology and gadgets than Black Friday is.

One thing is guaranteed – today is going to be a hell of a busy day on the Web. Online retailers are going to be bombarded with orders so I hope you’ve done your Christmas shopping already.

This video shows the Top 10 Black Friday deals for gamers. After watching it, you’ll have to leave the house and get to the stores quick or risk facing disappointment as all the best deals end or sell out.

This video is good not only for the consumer information but because of the way it’s presented. Forget a boring, monotone delivery of a Top 10 list, as this is also funny and original to boot.

Some of the offers on show are Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360, a range of Nintendo DSi bundles, Rock Band Special Edition with all the instruments, PS3 console bundles, and Xbox 360 bundles.

The guy has attached the pointless tennis racket to the Wiimote to play Wii Sports Tennis. Unfortunately, he didn’t push it all the way on and it consequently flies off on his first serve and smashes the TV screen.

The director cuts away quickly but you can still hear the laughter from the co-presenter. She is cracking up at the ineptitude of the guy, and even he admits he’s messed up big time.

I just wonder if the cost of the television came out of his wages.

I don’t know about you but I find wiping my ass one of the simplest things I have to do on any given day. It’s hardly rocket science now is it. But clearly some people have trouble, and need a bit of a helping hand.

They need Comfort Wipe, a revolutionary new tool which, although it may look like a stick with toilet roll on, is genius. Why hold something with your hand when you can stuff it in the end of a stick instead?

Sadly, this isn’t a spoof commercial, it’s actually a real product that’s for sale right now. Apparently, toilet paper is “really archaic and disgusting,” which is why someone needed to invent a tool to replace it. Except Comfort Wipe doesn’t do that, still needed toiler paper to work.

I can understand the need for such a device for old, infirm, or disabled people. I’m not totally ignorant or unsympathetic. But do able-bodied people really need this product for wiping their ass with? I don’t think so.

Infomercials are a strange beast. They are obviously there to try and entice us into buying something – we all know this yet we still watch them time and time again. Or is it just me, a victim of staying up too late at night with nothing on the television?

The Dual Saw is, well a saw really. That’s all in essence. Yet it’s one of the talking points of the day today after the Discovery Channel’s Pitchmen show with Billy and Sully. It definitely isn’t just me then.

This video isn’t the infomercial itself but rather a compilation of clips showing some guy going to town on all manner of materials. The Dual Saw cuts through them all, naturally, but then even I could have got into the cardboard box, saw or no saw.

My favorite infomercial has to be for the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. Here is a guy I’ve never heard of trying to sell me a juicer which most reviews claim isn’t actually all that good. Yet I’ll happily sit there watching the infomercial. Do I need to get out more?

That being the case, today is your lucky day. Ben and Jerry’s is holding its annual ‘Free Cone Day’, an event that has been held ever since the company was set up 31 years ago. Just head down to your nearest Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop to claim your free cone.

I’d personally love to get some free Ben and Jerry’s but as far as I know there aren’t any Scoop Shops in the UK. You lucky Americans. I’ll have to content myself in the knowledge that our chocolate is far superior to yours.

Ben and Jerry’s expects to give away two million scoops of ice cream today although that may increase due to the recession. After all, this stuff isn’t cheap and so people may take every opportunity to grab a freebie they can.

Reverend Billy, the man who performed an exorcism on a credit card machine in a Victoria Secret store, can actually be seen preaching against the evil act of holiday shopping in this documentary titled ‘What Would Jesus Buy?’

Shoppers beware! This is “the movie Santa doesn’t want you to see.” Back in 2006, Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir took a cross country road trip to shake up places like the Mall of America, Walmart headquarters, and even Disneyland.

I’m not a very religious person, but this documentary looks both entertaining and educational. Rumor has it that Rev. Billy was arrested over 10 times while making this movie. Who knows, maybe it’s the “Super Size Me” for consumerism.

This gives shoppers a chance to nab a great deal from the comfort of their own home.

Cyber Monday is the online shopping equivalent of Black Friday. Instead of venturing out to brave the crowds, why not just sit at home drinking coffee while buying everyone’s Christmas presents?

This news report on Cyber Monday is comical because they seemed to pick the geekiest guy possible to explain why he shops online. Not all of us Web-buyers are quite that bad.

The most useful part of this YouTube video comes at the end, when the tops tips for shopping online safely are explained. Which is probably the most important thing to note.

While it may be great to grab a bargain from home, be sure to shop securely, not being tricked into parting with your hard earned cash by a charlatan or scammer. Happy Cyber Monday!

As a retail store employee, I can say that this Black Friday was just as busy as it’s ever been. Products like the Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and the Elmo Extreme may be ‘the devil,’ but they are still being bought.
But as this video shows, if you want to grab the real cheap deals, not only do you have to get to the shops very early, you have to face a wall of people, and very long queues.

This video was taken on Black Friday 2006 in a Wal-Mart store by a guy who was either letting his other half do all the shopping, or had decided to document the day rather than fight the hordes.

I like shopping occasionally, but only for items such as TVs, stereos, DVDs etc. But I hate queues, and lots of people fighting for bargains, so Black Friday sounds like an absolute nightmare.

Good job then that I live in the UK, where we have neither Thanksgiving or Black Friday. I knew there was a reason we let you Americans have the land.

I’m sure you’re already aware that ringing up an item at a store will demagnetize the bar code on it. This video shows you how to do the opposite…

Even though it’s such a simple idea, this prank does have some flaws. First of all, not all items are marked with magnetized bar codes. Second, I’m pretty sure the bar codes have to be registered in the store’s system to set off, so remember which store you got it from.

I could also see a prank like this getting out of hand. For example, if 20-30 of these bar codes were dispatched an entire store would erupt in chaos. Not that anyone would try that.

As with all pranks, it’s important to remember that it’s your fault if you get caught. WebTvHub is not responsible for the actions of dumbasses.

Jewellery TV’s mission is to open the world of fine jewelry and gemstones to everyone.

Whether you are interested in Silver Jewellery, gemstones, silver ankle chains, body jewellery, or even toe rings Jewellery TV has something to offer. Jewellery TV appears to be pretty popular boasting that it shipped 5.5 million packages to our customers last year.

I’m personally not a fan of shopping channels since I believe better deals can be found elsewhere, like on eBay!. That said some people swear they can find some great deals on shopping channels like Jewellery TV.

Jewellery TV does feature a regular online TV store as well as the auctions that appear on its TV channel. You should be able to find some bargains within the Jewellery TV clearance section.
