You’ve seen the original Trololo Guy video (and I’m hoping you love it as much as I do), but now comes the inevitable parodies. Starting with what the Trololo Guy would sound like if he were stoned.

This made me laugh even more than the original, if that’s possible. And having seen people stoned off their faces, it’s actually a fairly accurate portrayal of what would happen.

The stupid thing is this is so simple an idea – some guy has just recorded himself doing a stoned version of the original Trololo song and laid it on top of the video. But it works extremely well.

The Trololo Guy is destined to be a star of the Internet for some time to come. And this isn’t the only parody by any means. I for one can’t get enough.

Just kidding – except about loving this video. I think it’s brilliant and actually a pretty good imitation of the ‘real’ Jack’s voice from the actual movie.

I was hoping they wouldn’t end it in some crappy way that would ruin the whole video, and thankfully they didn’t. Sweet and simple, the ending fit the song beautifully.

You’ve no doubt heard of the Apple iPad by now. How could you not have? It’s been all over the Web after all. The iPad is just the first of many tablet computers heading our way which are intended to fill the niche between smartphones and notebooks.

Do we need that niche filling? The jury is still out on that one. If we do, then maybe other products need to vary their sizes a little also. Like chips (crisps) for instance.

Doritos has the right idea, endeavoring to introduce a new, super-sized version of their classic and much-loved chip. It’s larger, more versatile, and can be shared by more than one person. It’s the Doritos Tablet!

This is obviously a spoof but while watching it I couldn’t help wonder how good a Dorito that big would taste. I want one, and I want one now. It would probably kill me with its fat and salt content, sure, but what a way to go out.

If you’d never heard of The Hills Have Thighs until this morning then you’re not alone. But people seem to be searching on Google for it so I thought I should check it out.

It turns out to be a comedy following a band of hillbillies in Appalachia as they try and solve the disappearance of local hillbilly icon Daniel Boone Owen. Sounds lame, I know, but the trailer makes it look OK.

The Hills Have Thighs comes from the mind of writer/director/actor James Bubba Cromer, or Coach Cromer as he’s referred to at the beginning of the trailer. He must be one strange man to have come up with film. Because it too is very strange.

The title is an obvious play on The Hills Have Eyes but that’s about where the similarities end. If you like your comedies sick, twisted, and low budget then The Hills Have Thighs could be for you. I don’t think it’s for me.

There have been so many predictable outcast-teacher-cleans-up-ghetto-school movies that it makes me sick. “Freedom Writers,” “Dangerous Minds,” and “Stand and Deliver” just to name a few. So how would one go about improving on the genre?

Add some wands and magic of course!

CollegeHumor always has great parodies and this one is no exception. Everything from the special effects, to the dialogue, to the acting is superb. Even the song remake is great!

The best part has to be the scene with the emotional kid talking about how is father and brother are locked up in Azkaban. I nearly died laughing when he dropped his wand.

Microsoft has scored a definite victory with its latest operating system, Windows 7. It’s everything Vista was not, and much more up-to-date and user-friendly than the now-aging Windows XP.

But that doesn’t mean it cannot be parodied, especially with the adverts for Windows 7 being, well, a little crap.

The adverts follow ordinary people (allegedly) who had an idea of what they wanted to see in a computer and then show how that feature became part of the Windows 7 OS.

This spoof version does exactly the same thing, except the features people waned to see on Windows 7 range from the sublime to the ridiculous. The journey is funny to watch and the final version of the Windows 7-based PC is brilliant. I want one!

This year began with an almighty mess at NBC as the U.S. network decided to backtrack on switching Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien around in the schedules after just eight months of the new order being put in place.

The upshot is that O’Brien has left the network completely, while Leno is returning to The Tonight Show from Monday (March 1).

This video shows the NBC promo for Leno’s return to the 11.35pm slot. Except for one thing. Instead of Get Back by The Beatles playing over the top, Creep by Radiohead provides the soundtrack. And it fits much better.

I don’t really care who hosts The Tonight Show, but Leno has clearly behaved badly through the whole thing. And this promo is no exception. Could he have pulled a more smug face than that? The man clearly has no scruples.

You’ve gotta love Weird Al Yankovic. He’s been mocking everyone and everything for decades now, and he still hasn’t lost his cutting-edge appeal or acerbic sense of humor.

This is the official music video for Weasel Stomping Day, a song from the critically-acclaimed Straight Outta Lynwood from 2006. And both the song and video are very funny.

The song tells the story of a fictitious holiday which takes place on June 31 every year (check your calendars, it doesn’t exist), when everyone dons boots and viking helmets and stomps on weasels for no other reason than it’s fun.

The video was made by and for Robot Chicken, Seth Green’s anarchic animated show, and it sums the song up very well. It appeared during the 12th episode of the second season of The Munnery, just prior to the album’s release.

It’s rare for something, anything, to make me laugh out loud these days. I spend my life finding things mildly amusing, but laughing out loud? That’s an annual occurrence at best. Yes, I am a joy to live with.

This video has provided me with my one out loud laugh for 2010, and it’s come very early. Which means I’ll have to spend the rest of the year chortling away inside to no one and nothing in particular.

It’s a very simple spoof really, just turning He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe in to He-Man and The Homos Of The Universe. They didn’t even bother changing the logo, just sticking to the voice over instead.

Luckily, the voice over is very well done, sounding very close to the real thing, so it works extremely well. And I think I prefer He-Man as gay – it all fits together much better than the original storyline.

You’re no doubt aware by now of Google Buzz, Google’s attempt to muscle in on the space currently inhabited by Facebook and Twitter, If you’re a Gmail user then you will probably have experience Buzz by now, and possibly complained about it as well.

But don’t worry. Google hears you. And here is what the Google spokesman told Comedy.com. At least I’m guessing he’s a real Google spokesman. Why would they lie?

The Google spokesman answers the criticism and controversy by flicking double V’s at us, telling us that Buzz is just the latest example of Google copying an existing service, and finally threatening to kill us all. Which is nice.

Google made a huge mistake with Buzz and are now backtracking, but I have a distinct feeling that this is the kind of feeling at Google about the controversy. When you’re that big and that ubiquitous why would you care?

Ke$ha’s pop song ‘Tik Tok’ is bigger and more annoying than it’s ever been. For those of you that can’t stand America’s latest version of the blonde-slut-diva here’s a parody that will lift your spirits.

I’d even go as far as calling it better than the original.

The Midnight Beast, are a parody group similar to The Lonely Island, but with a smaller budget. While this spoof doesn’t include any Hollywood actors or T-Pain, it’s surprisingly well put together.

Everything from the music production to the camera work is impressive for just a team of 3 teens. The funniest part has to be the line about MSN. Who can’t relate to parents interrupting online socializing?

Having spent Christmas sitting on the toilet for long stretches of time, I’m loathe to laugh and poke fun at people with a tendency for loose bowels. But this video is too funny to ignore. I can only apologize and hope fate has a sense of humor.

Oops I Crapped My Pants is a new product on the market just for gullible people with the shits.

As the video demonstrates, Oops I Crapped My Pants means Granny can play tennis without worrying she’s about to follow through. And not on a shot, but in the undercarriage department.

Worried that it’ll still spill out the side of your pants? There’s no need, as the demonstration shows just how much fecal matter Oops I Crapped My Pants can handle – a shitload, of you will.

Charlie Brooker has a knack of hitting the nail on the head with intense accuracy. Whether he’s critiquing the news, current affairs, television, society, or video games, he tells it like it is in an insightful and highly amusing manner.

This video show Brooker demonstrating how every news report looks and feels these days. And it’s spot-on, although I hadn’t ever thought about it while watching the actual news. It takes a genius like Brooker to point it out to me.

There are a couple of genius lines – “Ignoring all the pricks milling around him like he’s gliding through the fucking Matrix,” – but it’s the pointless vox pops about pointless vox pops which had me howling with laughter.

This segment is from Charlie Brooker’s Newswipe, which is currently enjoying its second series on BBC4, and it’s well worth watching. Not only is it entertaining and funny, it’s informative as well. What more could you ask for?

For anyone interested in technology, this week has been dominated by the unveiling of the Apple iPad. It was rumored for months, and Steve Jobs finally announced and revealed the tablet PC on Wednesday.

However, a great many tech journalists and industry watchers are disappointed by the iPad – with its lack of multitasking, Flash, and a camera, and it being tied into AT&T.

Hell, even Hitler isn’t happy.

This is a brilliantly done spoof of how Adolf Hitler would have reacted to the iPad. The subtitles are carefully worded as to appear real, though they are obviously not.

This isn’t the first time this clip has been adapted. In fact, whenever something big happens in the news, Hitler has his say. Including when Blu-ray and HD DVD were battling to succeed DVD.

This MADtv video would have been mildly, but not overly, funny when it was first aired a few years ago. But now, in light of the fact that Apple has actually introduced a product called the iPad? It’s frickin’ hilarious.

Apple unveiled its new iPad yesterday. The iPad is a new tablet PC with touchscreen that some think may revolutionize computing. Except the name sucks, and Apple didn’t even think of it first!

OK, so the spoof isn’t spot-on. For starters, the MADtv iPad is a normal, Macbook-style laptop rather than a tablet PC. But the syncing capability is bang on the money, and the imagery is also accurate.

So, not only is Steve Jobs having to cope with the iPad getting some bad press, he’s also having to cope with the name being mocked three years before it even existed. Not a good day for Apple, I feel.

I’m sure we’ve all seen the PC Vs. Mac adverts, both from Apple and Microsoft. Apple paints Microsoft as a nerdy, difficult, and unreliable system, while Microsoft paints Apple as an expensive, unnecessarily snazzy system.

This video is a little different than the usual PC Vs. Mac advert, featuring two little girls taking on the roles of the operating systems. And things get a little nasty by the end.

These little girls are cute, although they lose some of their cuteness when they start shouting and swearing at each other. But it’s at that point when the video gets funny.

I don’t care which side you’re on – Apple or Microsoft – you’re sure to find this amusing. Unless, of course, the sight of little girls arguing and swearing at each other doesn’t tickle your funny bone.

The Simpsons‘ opening credits are some of the most iconic to grace television. Here this classic piece of animation, and indeed America’s favorite family, is given a European makeover.

This video takes The Simpsons from contemporary Springfield to old-fashioned Estonia. Homer gives up the nuclear power plant for blacksmithing, and Bart swaps his skateboard for a hobby horse.

We saw Sky TV bring The Simpsons to life with its intro spoof, but this back-in-time twist brings something new.

This video shows Michael McDonald singing the national anthem at the Fiesta Bowl. Hasn’t he just got the most distinctive voice in music? No one could ever match his style.

Maybe.

OK, you got me. This isn’t actually Michael McDonald singing the national anthem at the Fiesta Bowl, but it is a very well done spoof that ends up sounding exactly like Michael McDonald.

I’m sure McDonald is a good singer and all that, but he’s certainly not my cup of tea. He sounds like a drowning rat gargling on ball bearings. The words coming out of his mouth are almost intelligible, so he may as well be singing “Michael McDonald” ad nauseum.

If there are any Michael McDonald fans out there then don’t have a go at me, have a go at the person who made the video. I may agree with their interpretation of his singing style but I’m merely the messenger.

“We all know why we’re here. We demand to know if the rumors are true. Does Harry Potter have a large penis?”

I know; I’m sad. I’m ashamed that I laughed out loud at this video so much that I feel the need to put it up here with my name attached.

Plus one for immature humor.

That said, this has to be the funniest, best made Harry Potter spoof I have ever seen. I don’t watch a heap of them, but this one still beats all the others.

The way they worked in the lines into the original dialogue as well as the other effects is absolutely brilliant. Love it.

This cleverly done 24 parody shows a much darker side to Santa Claus and the silly season.

When Santa is called in for questioning about his annual break-and-enter spree, there’s no better man for the job than 24’s Jack Bauer. While Jack intends to break down the fat man, the tables are very quickly turned.

You see, you don’t mess with The Claus. You might be able to haul his ass into the clink, but he can do much worse by putting you on his famous naughty list. It’s enough to make a grown man cry.

I don’t think I’ll be able to think of Santa in quite the same way after this!
