Those who are looking for some substance in reality shows these days, should take a look at ‘Work Of Art’ for something new and refreshing.

As a fan of the last season, I was glad that Bravo decided to bring it back this year.

Like other reality shows, this one has 14 artists facing weekly elimination. Still, all the tasks that each artist is given are pretty much subject to interpretation- which is why there never failed to be an interesting episode.

Though beautiful, Yellowstone National Park and what lies beneath it is one of the world’s most powerful weapons of mass destruction – and it could blow at any time.

Okay, so that sounded a bit melodramatic, but it’s true! Yellowstone is actually overdue for an eruption and the rumblings are getting more frequent. This series explores what happens if the worst comes to pass.

I don’t really like these shows because they are basically designed to make you frightened of things you have absolutely no power over (unless you’re Superman), but I have a special interest in Yellowstone.

One of the most boring things to go through on airplane flights is the ’safety speech’ that the flight attendants have to say before taking off.

Here’s one man that changes that mundane work task into something entertaining- a rap song!

At first listen, it seems like this guy is an old-school 90’s rapper from the ‘Fresh Prince” days. But upon further examination, you can hear all the required information that you need to know before flying. The crowd’s reaction is priceless!

Hopefully, this starts a whole series of other flight attendants breaking out their musical abilities when spouting safety info. I’d love to see some friendly competition between airlines.

This is one of my absolute all time favourite songs out there and I love that they have come up with this pairing to perform it.

I didn’t hear this song until a few months after I saw the movie Donnie Darko and came across a Japanese visuals video set to the song.

Ever since then, it’s been like it is with all my favourite songs: find all the different versions I can.

I guess 2010 was the “Year of Facebook.” Mark Zuckerberg became TIME’s Person of The Year, his company became worth $25 Billion, and the movie biopic about him just won Best Picture.

Personally, I thought Inception was a better movie overall, but I guess you can’t deny a winning streak.

While The Social Network had some great actors in it, the concept of the movie was quite boring compared to films like The Fighter and Inception. Another shock to me was how Easy A won Best Comedy. For those wanting to see a list of winners check below:

The move to a genetically modified world just took a step closer to becoming frighteningly real with the WikiLeaks revelation that the US government, on behalf of industry giant Monsanto, is pressuring European countries to adopt genetically modified food and seeds.

Somehow I just don’t think Europe is going to be very happy about that at all…

This actually makes me quite sick to my stomach thinking about it happening. Monsanto is so thoroughly screwing over so many farmers in the Unites States… What’s going to happen to Europe?

Where there are food artists, there are also food graffitti artists like this who will do things simply because they can.

Okay. I confess! I’d try a bite. Bacon and cheese is yum. French bread is yum. Chips (French fries) are yum – especially with gravy. Putting the maple syrup on would just make it an adventure.

Then after that bite, I would go on a strict diet for six weeks just to burn off the calories from that one bite. *shudder*

I’m sure this isn’t the more epic sandwich out there, though… Have anything better?

Today is the day that marijuana might become legal for adults over 21 on the California state level. Voting will be taking place all day and the results are too close to currently tell which side will win. Nevertheless, some big-name stars are “coming out” in support.

It’s pretty obvious what side Hollywood is on. With the exception of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the majority of celebrities who have commented on Prop 19 have expressed their support. Even those that don’t officially state which side are tweeting for their followers to “vote!”

Snoop Dogg is a pretty obvious name that keeps popping up, but I wouldn’t have expected Sting or Rosario Dawson to take a stand. While the DEA has expressed that they will continue their old policies on the federal level even if it passes, I doubt they can police an entire state.

For those of you that don’t know, Prop. 19 (which might legalize marijuana in California to the level of alcohol) will be voted on tomorrow. While discussing the matter on Bill Maher’s HBO show, Zack Galifianakis decided to light up a joint.

While Bill Maher’s publicist later denied that there was actually weed in the joint, the other panelists in this video would have to disagree.

Zack is always known for his “crazy” sense of humor and this incident is no different. While it may be a joke, it’s also a very positive message for Prop. 19 supporters because of his Hollywood status.

Although I don’t smoke weed (I’m a non-smoker), I sincerely hope that Prop. 19 passes so America can finally wake up to a sensible drug policy. On a side note, I think there might be a few dragons in my room.

I had to watch this silent video twice before I could actually understand how this tool works. Believe me, it’s something for guys to be afraid of. Then again, if you’ve ever seen the horror movie ‘Teeth,’ you might find it familiar.

Rape-aXe is advertised as “the Ultimate Anti-Rape Tool, and for a good reason. The tool can cause rapists potentially lethal injuries should they try to rape a victim with it installed.

Personally, I think this product does more harm than good. No, it’s not as bad as rape but it could potentially lead to murder. No doubt this product was made from a rapist victim- how else could someone come up with something this vengeful?!

Call me an optimist, but I can’t imagine that there could me a legitimate reason for this device to be legal. I positive that the human race will eventually grow out of heinous crimes like rape. Then again, I’m a just a guy.

A little velcro goes a long way when it comes to turning your iPad into something even more fun and useful than you expected.

I’m not sure I would trust it enough to put my iPad on my ceiling, but the ideas are pretty cool.

I don’t have nor will I ever have an iPad, but video has caused me to have a think about it. It seems a waste of power to use it for something like a photo frame, but the GPS in the car was interesting.

But again, they have a lot more faith in the stick of velcro than I do…

Bill Clinton is now resting after having to undergo emergency surgery to open up a clogged artery. He had a heart attack earlier this morning, but the news about the specifics were only revealed recently.

This will mark the second heart attack that Clinton has survived (the other occurred in 2004).

Since his first heart attack in 2004, Clinton vowed to live a healthier lifestyle. He ate right, exercised, and lost weight in the past few years, but still his heart problems remain.

Unclogging an artery involves a procedure called “stenting” which is explained in this video. Of course, the procedure is only a temporary fix to the problem.

While many people in the United States may not think it is a strange custom, embalming the dead sets the US apart from many other countries’ death rituals.

While I hold nothing against the people who do, I can’t help but wonder if there is a specific personality type amongst people that makes them more comfortable and interested in working with dead bodies.

I never questioned the custom of embalming bodies while I was growing up, but now it would be my least preferred way of going into the next life/being honored.

It is interesting to get a glimpse into how it all came about.

Hulu, perhaps the most popular site to browse legal full episodes, has one major flaw. If you aren’t from the United States, the site is almost useless because of the regional restrictions.

But that’s no longer a problem. With this guide you’ll be able to watch Hulu no matter where you live. And the best part is it only takes a few minutes.

Since I’m a resident of the US, I have no urge to try this myself, but for Canadian and UK TV addicts this video must seem heaven-sent. It’s simple math really; the more viewers there are, the more money Hulu can generate. By limiting the audience, Hulu just keeps shooting itself in the foot (so to speak).

Those Barack Obama parodies just keep on rolling don’t they? The “Solid As Barack” skit as seen on Saturday Night Live can be viewed below and the real studio version can be seen above.

When Ashford & Simpson saw the “Barack Obama Variety Half Hour” SNL special they were pleasantly surprised when their song was parodied. Six months before this sketch aired they had actually been doing the same thing in concerts for their fans.

Here’s the non-professional studio version of “Solid As Barack.” Mind you, it’s a joke song rather than an inspirational one, but I kind of like it better. I wonder which one Barack prefers.

I feel like a little kid on the playground watching a couple of kids go at it and the crowd letting out “ooooo’s” and “awwww’s” in delight at the bickering. But, instead of being a kid on a playground, this is real life bashing of John McCain by none other than David Letterman. See John, that’s what you get for cancelling on Letterman! Oooooo!

And Letterman doesn’t stop there; his rant continues throughout the show and then McCain ended up as a butt of a joke in one of Letterman’s infamous “Top 10″ lists. Awwwww!

Even Meredith Vieira is scared of Letterman and watching the fight from the safety of the crowd. Think McCain will ever go on Letterman in the future? I asked the magic 8 ball and it said “outlook not good.”

NBC Olympics

American residents will be able to watch over 2,200 hours of coverage live on NBCOlympics.com.

The success of the coverage will be used as a yardstick to see whether the Web is a legitimate location for hosting coverage of events such as this.

However, with severe restrictions it is alienating a larger potential audience.

BBC Olympic Coverage

The the BBC’s Olympic coverage looks like the best deal with fair and wide coverage of the events. Unfortunately it is only available within the UK.

TVTonic

TVTonic’s service allows US residents to watch Olympic events in full, even after broadcast and while you’re offline. However, the service isn’t recommended for users of metered Broadband Internet.

Proxy

While the coverage of the above services may be locked to a specific country, anyone overseas can get around this fact by use of a proxy server based in right country.

Essentially this makes it appear as if you are accessing the coverage from the correct country. However, with proxy servers being quite unreliable and slow it is unlikely you’ll be able to watch anything without jitters.

YouTube & Live Streaming Video Sites

YouTube has a dedicated Olympics channel, but it will only be viewable by people resident in the 77 countries where the IOC failed to make exclusive Web deals. Using a proxy server can again get around this obstacle.

There is also likely to be a multitude of amateur footage finding its way on to live streaming video sites like Ustream, Stickam, and Justin.tv.

Using uStream the Olympic Games are being streamed online live. The quality is not brilliant and it can be a bit stuttery but its better than nothing.

P2P Streaming

P2P streaming is huge in China, and PPLive is officially licensed to show the Olympics in China. A Chinese-based proxy server may help, or alternatively, PPStream, PPMate, Sopcast, TVUPlayer, and TVKoo may be worth trying.

Personally out of all of those I recommend TVUPlayer as it is the easiest to use.

Torrents

Last but not least are torrent sites, with the big Olympic moments likely to turn up in force on the high-profile sites such as The Pirate Bay, and Mininova.

However, since you have to download the content first using torrents then you won’t be able to get any live coverage this way, but it will be great for recapturing classic moments from the Olympics

An alternative to torrents is the easy-to-use video downloading program Graboid which provides access to hundreds of thousands of videos and will no doubt have a lot of Olympic coverage.

TiVo and DVRs

The Olympics TV schedule can’t rule your life and by using TiVo or your preferred DVR you can record all the events to watch at a later date. A relatively simple solution which allows you to easily watch the Olympics on your regular TV set.

Whichever means you choose to watch the Olympics online from Beijing, it’s clear that the Web is now a serious player in delivering footage of such a huge event to the masses.

DELETED: THE GAME is a web series/game unlike any interactive online series you’ve encountered. The show stars Tyler Mills (played by Charlie Miller), a girl who loses her lover and her memory, and gets caught up in a conspiracy.

Throughout the opening season (which debuts this August), it’s up to viewers like you to help her out.

Fans of the sci-fi spoofing web series ‘Cataclysmo and the Time Boys’ can rejoice. As of last week, the second arc of the story began titled ‘Cataclysmo and the Battle for Earth’ or simply ‘Cataclysmo II.’ This time our heroes return to save the Earth from the post-apocalyptic effects of the dooming Cataclysmo.

Oh, and did I mention the fact that everyone on earth has turned into gorillas?

Sheesh! Never turn your back on Dennis Hopper, that’s all I can say.

I laughed so hard while watching this video. I don’t think it gets any better when you have a video including killing, someone shouting about erect penises and grown men talking about their mommies.

It’s probably better when you, like me, haven’t seen most/all of the movies these clips are referencing, but I think even if you have seen them, you’ll enjoy this video.

It’s amazing how funny things can be when taken out of context. After watching this video, I am sure there a dozens of websites and videos dedicated to it. (Google, here I come!)

I just wish I had thought of doing it first.
