If you are looking for a tool that allows the creation impressive web video presentations with ease, then you might want to consider Animoto.

Just launched, the service delivers unique video slideshows of your images, accompanied either with your own music or some from its growing library of tunes (currently restricted to indie rock, electronica or hip hop).

Animito analyses your music and photos together to create a professional-looking piece of synchronised widescreen video that can be shared instantly with friends, via e-mail or through a variety of sites including MySpace and Facebook.

Users can either make free and unlimted use of Animoto Shorts which creates clips lasting a maximum of 30 seconds or pay $30 USD for a year’s pass and access to the creation of full-length videos.

Animoto looks to be an exciting new venture, but could do with a few improvements including giving users the permission to upload personal voice tracks and also the opportunity to download their projects. However, it’s still early days and so far we’re impressed by its functionality and ease of use.

WeShow.com, a website offering a personal touch to finding internet video similar to that of Gloob.TV has just launched its latest customisable widget for blog and website owners.

Available free of charge, WeShow onSite is a tool that allows users to embed a window full of content from their favourite video channels directly onto their own little patch of the internet.

Users can choose from WeShow’s 200+ channels to fill the onSite widget, which will instantly display a thumbnail view of the ten most recently featured videos on the sites chosen by its creator. See something you like? Clicking on a thumbnail instantly launches the video to watch in all its glory.

As well as choosing the subjects of the video selection, bloggers and site owners can further tailor onSite by changing its colour and orientation. Placing the widget on any given site is as simple as copying and pasting the automatically generated code.

YouTube and others already offer individualised video tweaking, but WeShow’s little gizmo stands out for being the most interactive we’ve seen so far – the selection of 10 videos spins like a merry-go-round of endless variety and the content launches in a split second. We’re impressed.
