Keeping track of all the software required to manage your digital media content can be an absolute nightmare. But there may be a solution at hand.

If, like me, you are someone who is addicted to entertainment in all its various mediums, you probably have a number of different applications installed on your computer to manage them all.

You tend to need one piece of software for converting audio files, another for converting video in to different formats, another to burn and rip these files, and yet another to edit videos.

But maybe there is a solution out there which can fulfil all of your multimedia requirements.

Blaze Media Pro

Blaze Media Pro is a powerful, all-encompassing application that offers the chance to deal with all your multimedia needs in one package. No longer will you need to have multiple apps open at the same time.

Blaze Media Pro eschews the need for any other CD burning software as it does it all for you. This is after handling any conversions between music formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA, and OGG with ease.

Video Capabilities

It also manages to squeeze DVD burning software in to the package. Again, this is after having allowed you to convert between video formats such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, AVI, WMV, ASF, and Flash.

Blaze Media Pro also includes a powerful video editor which allows you to do such things as delete frame, delete selection, crop, resize, rotate, mirror, flip, trim, and a text overlay.

Physical To Digital

If you have content recorded in a physical format and need it converting for uploading to a Web video site such as YouTube, Blaze Media Pro also lets you convert DVD to AVI, MPG, WMV.

Blaze Media Pro is free to try before you buy, and if you love having one tool to rule them all, it’s available to buy for the bargain price of $50.

We’ve seen plenty of instructional video sites start up over the past year or two, with Howcast, Expert Village and 5Min probably the best known.

Mindbites differs from all of these in one way though, in that it charges for the video lessons, with costs ranging between $1.69 and $1.99.

Good For Content Makers

The instructors who make the videos maintain ownership of their lessons, and receive $1 every time someone purchases the full video.

That’s a great deal for content makers, but with the free alternatives I’ve already mentioned, is it actually worth it for the ordinary Web user?

Nice Design But Ultimately Pointless?

The site is nicely designed, with a simple layout and good search option. Once you find the video of your choice, you can watch a short preview clip before deciding whether to purchase.

I really don’t understand why anyone would do though, as most, if not all, the subjects covered are available elsewhere and at no cost.

CelebKings is a celebrity porn site that is a bit different as it brings together the biggest collection of R Rated celebrity moments ever captured on film. There’s no faked shots here, just your favorite stars showing a bit too much leg.

When you accept the adult terms, you arrive at the portal page where you can start searching for your Nude Celebrity of choice. As well as a search box there are a number of different menus from Celebrity A-Z to Movies A-Z.

The site cleverly lets you look around the whole site right up until the point you click to watch the video clips. Then you are prompted to join the site for approximately $25 a month.

Assuming you are a member you can then choose to play your chosen video (of which there are over 7000 and rising) in 4 different formats which should cover most people’s needs. Windows Media Player was my choice of weapon.

It’s a great website that you could spend hours on if you are that way inclined. Even if you are not a big fan of porn, who can turn down the chance to see some famous people naked? Not me, that’s for sure.

The beta launch of Stage6 has seen a host of new features that has turned Stage6 alpha from just another one of those video sites into something really unique and compelling.

The first thing you will notice when you go onto the new Stage6 site and watch a video is the quality. Everything feels widescreen and well designed and you are free from blurry pixilated videos. Stage6 supports video quality up to 1080p HD.

But it doesn’t just stop at higher quality videos, Stage 6 alpha had that already. Stage6 beta is trying to make its mark as the ultimate portal for independent video producers and video enthusiasts to distribute their videos, network and share ideas.

TVTonic recently announced the latest version of their software this week. Its pretty slick with a beautiful interface that works with Microsoft Media Center and the Xbox 360. TVTonic allows you to subscribe to video episodes and watch them through a DVR esque interface. Before I head straight on with the review I’ll introduce you to online video and RSS (scroll on if you’re already familiar).

Internet Video and RSS

Internet Video Episodes, Vodcasts, Videocasts and Video Blogs are pretty much the same thing. They are on-demand videos available through the internet with new videos added on a regular basis. Many of these Vodcasts use an RSS feed to allow you to subscribe to their videos so you can watch new videos as they become available.

Channels featured on TVUPlayer currently include CBS, ESPN, NBA TV, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, Comedy Central, Disney and more, including sports channels.

This already impressive lineup of channels is available from any internet enabled PC in the world and could potentially expand to include many more channels.

It is my understanding the system works where one person records live TV and streams it to the internet. This stream is then redistributed by other people who are watching the channel.
