Controversial Audi Super Bowl Commercial Video | Debunking The Gender Pay Gap

21 sec read

For its Super Bowl commercial this year, Audi decided to focus on discrimination, suggesting that buying an Audi is somehow the domain of progressive thinkers.

The problem for others pushing this agenda is that the gender pay gap has been thoroughly debunked.

Women may, on average, be paid 21 percent less than men. However, that doesn’t take into account hours worked, or life choices made. So it’s a meaningless statistic.

Regardless of how many people believe in the gender pay gap, it’s difficult to see how this ad is going to persuade people to buy an Audi. Unless I’m missing something really obvious.
