Controversial Pink Slime Explained Video | Chef Jamie Oliver Demonstrates The Process

27 sec read

Everyone seems to be talking about pink slime at the moment, and it’s something Jamie Oliver has already rallied against in his quest to make us all eat healthier.

Pink slime is the leftover parts of an animal after all the good cuts have been removed. It’s pink because of the chemical process used to remove harmful bacteria from the product.

I can see why parents are getting their knickers in a twist over pink slime. But burgers are so goddamn tasty, and the less meat there is in them the tastier they are, in my opinion.

I have dabbled with vegetarianism in the past, but when I’m not doing that I eat the crappiest, most-processed meat imaginable. In fact, I think I’ll have a pink slime-induced sausage right now.
