Personally, I’m not a fan of public proposals. It puts people on the spot, and can be potentially embarrassing if the answer turns out to be “no.” However, the man who created this video made me rethink my stance a little.
His elaborate proposal is centered on the opening of a gallery exhibit. The exhibit is titled “My Early Muir Owl.” If the title strikes you as a little strange, it’s because it’s an anagram of “Will You Marry Me?”
It wasn’t an easy proposal to set up, judging from the weeks of preparation. It’s elegant and rather different from the halftime sports game wedding proposals that we’ve become accustomed to. It’s sure to make a couple of men swear for raising the bar so high.
