This video combines two of my greatest loves: chimpanzees and Japanese television. The former is as cute as can be, and the latter is just as crazy! Where else can you see a chimp becoming acquainted with a popcorn maker?
It sounds like an unlikely combination for a video, but the result is pretty entertaining! At first the chimp is fascinated by this strange new machine, but then those corn kernels start to pop!
The poor ape nearly jumps out of his skin, and it takes a few cuddles from his human friend to soothe him! He’s never quite at ease with the technology, but those hugs do seem to help!
