There’s a theory that if you put enough monkeys in a room filled with typewriters they’ll replicate the works of Shakespeare. So if you put enough monkeys together with synthesizers, do you end up with the works of Kraftwerk? If this video’s any indication, perhaps not.
Although this experiment is a bit flawed, as meerkats and lemurs aren’t monkeys at all. The sample size is also probably a bit small. But watching them bang out on the keyboards is adorable, if a little painful to listen to.
I’m pretty sure none of these critters will score a slot at Voltfestivalen, the Swedish electronic music festival the video promotes, but watching them is lots of fun!
