TNT is taking us back to Southfork with a revamped version of iconic retro soap opera, Dallas.
Dallas: The New Generation introduces some new blood to the oil empire, but stalwarts like J.R. Ewing, his son Bobby, and wife Sue Ellen are back for another go round.
It’s that mix of old and new that should help the rebooted Dallas appeal to older fans and their teens. And of course the time honored recipe of sex, lies, and scandal won’t hurt any either.
I’m thrilled to see Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy, and Linda Gray reprising their roles, and Desperate Housewives alum Jesse Metcalfe, Josh Henderson, and Brenda Strong look like welcome additions.
The summer premiere can’t come soon enough!
