“Dancing With The Stars” Finale | And The Winner Is…

Helio Castroneves and now two-time, back-to-back professional champ, Julianne Hough take the mirror ball trophy from season 5 of Dancing With The Stars. This winner leaves the one and only female winner from season 1 alone in the genders of the ball. Even after his 16 count screwup at the beginning of the jive in the finale, Helio could not be stopped from winning the coveted award.

I really thought this was going to be the woman’s season, and Mel B. looked like a clear winner to me. Don’t get me wrong, I like Helio, but I really think his sexy and erotic partner, Julianne, garnered the interest and the votes.

If they were simply going off the finale’s freestyle dance, then Helio and Julianne definitely take the cake, but Mel B. and Maksim C. brought in the consistent perfect 30 scores throughout the season.

Not to leave out Ms. Marie Osmond, the best entertainer on Dancing With The Stars Yet, but it is obvious she made it to the finale thanks to her fan base and her 101 brothers.

Yes, I’m a little surprised, but I’ll give a congrats to Helio and Julianne, as they are deserving winners. Although I’m posting this Paso Doble performed by Mel B. and Maks, as it truly was the best dance of the whole season. Until next year…
