I’m no expert on Bollywood movies, believe me. But i can see that this particular one, Darling Telugu, is going to be a huge success. Mainly because everyone and their mothers are searching for the movie on the Web.
Darling Telugu stars Prabhas and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles, ably assisted by Tamil actors Prabhu and Shraddha Das. The whole thing is directed by A. Karunakaran, known for his romantic movies.
I don’t know about you but the song in the trailer sounds a lot like the Black Eyed Peas’ Boom Boom Pow to me. Imitation may be regarded as the sincerest form of flattery, but that won’t deter the copyright lawyers from pouncing.
Darling Telugu is out today (April 23) in India. And while it may not be my thing exactly, it will surely be a smash hit.
