This week the American Idols needed to sing not one, but two, Neil Diamond songs. But it didn’t seem to phase David Cook, who gave two stellar performances. It was tough to choose, but I decided to show you his take on All I Really Need Is You.
What I loved most about this song was that it didn’t feel like a Neil Diamond song. No offence to Neil, but it didn’t sound like a mere cover version of a song written more than 15 years ago. It sounds like something that could be a hit today.
David is just going from strength to strength in this competition, and it’s so exciting to watch.
