Get On Up, the movie biopic detailing the life of soul singer James Brown, is out now in movie theaters across North America.
You’ll know whether it’s a film you’ll want to see after watching the trailer as posted above. Thankfully, the music has been left well alone, which means the soundtrack will please all James Brown fans at the very least.
Get On Up stars Chadwick Boseman as the adult James Brown, with a child actor obviously showing him as he was growing up.
James Brown had an extremely interesting life, so this should be an interesting movie. The problem may be how long it took to be released, as the level of interest in his music has dramatically waned since his death in 2006.
