This video shows the lead up to and beating of Derrion Albert which left the 16-year-old schoolboy dead on the streets of Chicago. Although the killing is censored, gratuitous violence is still on display.
Derrion Albert was a 16-year-old student at Fenger High School in Roseland who unfortunately got mixed up in this street fight between two rival Chicago gangs. The outcome is rather sadly that he died from injuries sustained in a beating.
it’s scary to watch this fight kick off because you can just see it getting out of hand. Which it did do when some youngsters started picking up wooden boards and hitting others in the head with them.
The implication is that Albert wasn’t directly involved in the fight, which if true adds another layer of misery to the whole thing. Surely with the aid of this amateur video footage, someone can be arrested and charged with this murder.
