It’s been a full year since Despicable Me was released in movie theaters, so this review is a little outdated.
However, not only is it now available to buy on DVD and Blu-ray, making the review relevant once again, Universal has also announced details of the sequel, Despicable Me 2, which will renew interest in this feature.
Despicable Me is an animated movie which told the tale of a criminal mastermind and his minions. The animation is great, the writing superb, the acting really nicely done.
Despicable Me 2 (a truly creative title there, I’m sure you’ll agree) has now been confirmed, and it will be released on Jul 3, 2013. So, only two years to wait then. That’s the problem with animated films: they take so damn long to make.
