Slow and steady might win the race, but when provoked a tortoise knows how to get out of first gear. Here we see a very determined tortoise chasing one very noisy dog.
The tortoise is relentless, acting like some kind of reptile Terminator as he pursues the pup. I can’t say that I blame him though. The dog’s barking is pretty relentless too. If it irks me, I can’t imagine how it must sound to tiny tortoise ears.
Sadly the tortoise never does catch up with the dog. It’s a shame really, because a sharp tortoise bite to the ankles is just what this dog deserves!
