DNS Changer Malware Repair Video | Detect & Safeguard Your PC Before DNSChanger Hits

24 sec read

If you’ve heard vague mention of DNS Changer but haven’t done anything to check whether your computer is infected with this nasty piece of malware, time is running out.

Tomorrow (July 9) will see most people with the DNSChanger malware installed on their computer lose access to the Web, as the FBI turns off the temporary servers keeping victims online.

DNS Changer was discovered in 2007, and the FBI caught the alleged perpetrators behind it in 2011. Since then temp servers have provided access to those infected, but they will be taken offline tomorrow.

To check whether your computer is affected by DNSChanger or not just follow the instructions at the DNS Changer Working Group website before midnight tonight.
